Independent & Family Run
We are an independent, family owned and run funeral director based in Alness, Invergordon and throughout the Ross-shire area in the Scotland Highlands. Established in 2005.
Mairi started the company, on her own initially, to provide a caring, sensitive service to the community she has lived in all her life.
As the company has grown, so has the workforce. Three full-time funeral directors, David Ross, Grant Geddes and Sarah Crow are employed to look after families and their loved ones from that first difficult phone call and to make all funeral arrangements.
Martin Geddes is our full time funeral assistant and Lesley Mackay and Lisa Hay are based in our office. We also have an experienced team of assistants who are invaluable to us, who assist us in all our day to day duties.
In 2011 we acquired D.J. MacLennan & Son, Muir of Ord and Mackay & Macaskill, Dornoch which means we now provide funeral services throughout the Highlands and beyond.
We feel very proud to be able to look after your loved one with respect and dignity, and we are dedicated to providing the highest level of service.
In your time of sadness, we consider it not only our duty but our privilege to remove the burden of the funeral and to understand and share in your sorrow.
The arrangements, conducted with dignity, patience and diplomacy can give enormous peace of mind and from experience we know this can uplift the family and give strength through their darkest hour.
Our service to you starts from the very first telephone call or visit to our office. We are here to help, guide and be by your side at this difficult time.
We provide impartial guidance and useful information to the bereaved family, offering the highest standard of care and service from the moment of first contact.
We firmly believe that we have an important responsibility to care for our families, not just by offering support during the funeral but especially through the difficult days that follow.
