Direct cremation from Mairi Urquhart & Son does not mean a reduction in care or compassion.

For some people, an attended service at the crematorium will not be the correct way to say goodbye. If you feel that is the case, we will collect the person who has died in our usual, caring and professional manner. We will provide care and preparation to allow you to spend time with your loved one should you wish.

A simple coffin will be supplied and a Hearsette used for transport to Inverness Crematorium on a date and time chosen by us, of which you will be notified.

The ashes will be available for collection from our Alness of Muir of Ord Funeral Homes, or delivery can be arranged shortly after.
